Detailed Solution

Given that the king, queen and jack of clubs are removed from a deck of 52 playing cards and the remaining cards are shuffled.
For an event E, probability is given by,
P E = Number of favourable outcomes n(E) Total number of outcomes n(S)
The King, queen, and jack of clubs are removed from a deck of 52 playing cards. So, the remaining cards in a deck are,
n(S) = 52-3
n(S)=49 The number of events getting cards of queen after removing a queen of the club is,
n(E) = 4-1
n(E)=3 So, the probability of getting cards of queen is,
P E = 3 49
Thus, the probability of getting cards of the queen is 3 49   .
Therefore, option 3 is correct.
