LCM stands for Lowest common multiple, and it is the smallest common multiple between any two or more numbers.

Let us write the numbers as their prime factors.

Now, 135 = 3 × 3 × 3 × 5 × 1 or 33 × 5 × 1.

and 24 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 1 or 23 × 3 × 1.
Also, LCM in terms of prime factors, is the product of the greatest power of each prime factor of the numbers taken.
Therefore,

LCM = 23 ×33 × 5 = 1080
