Breadth of the rectangular hall B = 18m
So, hat areas of hall
= L × B = 40 × 18 = 720m2
Since, length of tiles 1 = 1m
Breadth of tiles b = 50cm = 0.5m
So, the area of each tiles
= 1 × b = 1 × 0.5 = 0.5m2
