Given,
Length = 5 m, breadth = 4 m and height = 3 m
Area of four walls = 2h (l + b)
=2×3(5+4) =6(9)
=54 sq. m
Now, Area of ceiling =l×b
=5×4
=20 sq.m
Total area of four walls and the ceiling of the room
=54+20
=74 sq.m

∵

White-washing costs = Rs 7.50 per sq. m

∴

Total cost =74×7.50= Rs 555
