Therefore, the perimeter of the rectangle is the sum of all sides. We know that the perimeter of the rectangular field of length l and breadth b is given as,

Putting in the values of P and l, we get: 248 = 2(82 + b).
Solving it will give us the value of b.
Dividing both sides by 2 we get:
⇒ 82 + b = 124.
Subtracting 82 from both sides we get:
