Detailed Solution

The lower house of the Parliament is known as the Lok Sabha. The populace directly elects the Lok Sabha from 543 constituencies across the country. Out of the Anglo-Indian community, the President chooses two people to serve as members. Five years are spent in each Lok Sabha session. All Indian citizens 18 years or older, regardless of gender, caste, creed, or race, have the right to vote to elect their representatives to the Lok Sabha. Hence the name was given to the Lower House of the Indian Parliament.
