Detailed Solution

The Lucknow Pact was signed between the Muslim League and the Congress. In 1916, at the Lucknow session, Congress and the Muslim League signed an agreement known as the Lucknow Pact. Anti-British feelings were seen among the Muslims because of the war between Britain and Turkey. For communal harmony, Congress accepted a separate electorate. Both organisations jointly demanded dominion status for the country.
