The luteal phase in the menstrual cycle of primate female is also called

The menstrual cycle has three important phases- 

(i) follicular or proliferative phase, which lasts for about 7-9 days and is a highly variable phase. 
(ii) ovulatory phase, the egg ruptures from the ovary on 14^th day. 
(iii) secretory phase, which lasts for about 13-14 days till the corpus luteum is survived and is the most constant phase.
