Detailed Solution

The magnitude of the buoyant force depends on the density of the fluid.
According to the Archimedes principle, if an object is immersed in a fluid, it experiences an apparent loss of weight equal to the weight of the fluid displaced by the immersed object. As the weight of the displaced fluid equals the product of the volume of the fluid displaced and the density of the fluid. As mass= density× volume
So we can say “Buoyant force depends on the density of the liquid”. Its magnitude is equal to the weight of the volume of the fluid displaced by the object on which buoyant force is acting. Hence its magnitude depends on the fluid’s density.
