Detailed Solution

The mansabdars constituted new dynasties which had command over Hyderabad and Awadh. The subadars, or mansabdars, who made up the Mughal aristocracy, amassed enormous riches and reputations and rose to great power in the late seventeenth century. A new class of people who had previously been the emperor's servants gradually emerged as centres of power in places like Hyderabad and Awadh as the Mughal ruler's influence and power gradually waned. By the eighteenth century, they still regarded the Mughal emperor as their superior but saw themselves as independent. They built powerful and distinct political identities in addition to emerging as new dynasties. As a result, the local dynasties and centres of authority gained prominence in the region.
