Detailed Solution

The mass of an object is 20 kg. The weight on the earth is 196 N and the weight on the moon is  32 N.
Mass of an object =20 kg
We know that acceleration due to gravity on the earth (g) = 9.8 m/s2
Acceleration due to gravity on the moon (g) = 1.6 m/s2
By using the formula of weight
Weight on the earth = mg
                                W=20×9.8
                                W=196 N
Weight on the moon W = mg
                                 W = 20×1.6
                                 W = 32 N
