The weight of the man will decrease on the surface of the moon.
The weight of an object is the force with which the gravitational force pulls it. The weight of an object is calculated using the following formula:
W=mg
Where m is the mass and g is the acceleration due to gravity.
As mass is the amount of matter in a body, it does not change. The weight of any object on the moon will be lighter than that on Earth. The weight gets reduced to 1/6th on the moon as it does on Earth. As the moon's gravitational pull is weaker in comparison with the Earth, the weight of objects will decrease when they are on the moon's surface.
