Detailed Solution

The mean density of earth is a constant value.
Density of any object is given by,
     ρ=massvolume
 ρ=M4π3R3
 ρ=3M4πR3  .............(1)
Given,
The mass of the Earth, = 6×1024 kg
The Radius of the Earth, = 6400 km
The mean density of Earth is calculated by substituting the given values in equation (1).
     ρ=3×6×10244×3.14×6.4×1063
 ρ=5.5×103kg m-3
As a result, the density of the earth is a constant because the quantities on which it is dependent are constants.
