The metals which can be extracted just by heating their sulphide in the air are mercury and copper.

Mercury metal is produced from the sulphide ore called cinnabar, HgS, which is actually mercury(II) sulphide.

Copper can be extracted from its sulfide ore, copper sulfide (CuS), by heating it in the presence of air to obtain copper metal and sulfur dioxide gas.

Both mercury and copper, being low in the reactivity series, are considered less reactive metals. Therefore, their extraction involves heating their sulphides in the air and further reducing their oxides through heating processes.

Hence, the metals which can be extracted just by heating their sulphide in the air are mercury and copper.
