Let the coordinates of B be (a, b)

The midpoint of two points x1,y1and x2,y2 is calculated by the formula x1+x22,y1+y22

Hence, the midpoint of AB=-3+a2,2+b2=(1,-2)

 -3+a2=1; 2+b2=-2

=-3+a=2 ,  2+b=-4
