The militant guerrilla movement spread in the Andhra Pradesh state. In the early 1920s, it led at Gudem Hills. The rebels from the Gudem did not attempt the move peacefully. It was a violent movement on their end. The rebels of this region adopted guerrilla warfare to attain Swaraj. The rioters of these hills believed that freedom could not be gained only by non-violent methods or peaceful processions. Still, the need for violence and sacrifice was essential to making a movement successful.
