Detailed Solution

The minimum resistance which can be obtained using five resistors each of 15 Ω, will be 125 ohm.
It is known that “in a parallel combination of resistance, the reciprocal of the equivalent resistance is minimum because the equivalent resistance is given by the sum of reciprocals of the resistances.” Mathematically,
1R=1R1+1R2+1R3+1R4+1R5
On substituting the given resistance value of 15 Ω as 0.2 Ω, we get1R=10.2+10.2+10.2+10.2+10.2
1R=25
  R=125 Ω
Hence, the minimum resistance is 125 Ω.
