The mirrors are inclined with an angle of 60° in kaleidoscope and 45° in periscope.
Kaleidoscope consist of three plane mirrors which are inclined with an angle 60 degrees in a tube. Due to multiple reflections of light kaleidoscope forms multiple images.
On the other hand, periscope is an optical instrument used to see the object that are not in the line of sight or when there is an obstruction in the line of sight. A Periscope makes use of two plane mirror at 45 degrees angle placed in Z shaped box.
