Detailed Solution

The most common forms of animal fibres are wool and silk.                                                           Natural fibres are derived from plants and animals. The most common examples of animal fibre are wool and silk.  Wool is obtained from sheep. It is widely used in winter clothing because it is a bad conductor of heat and provides insulation to the body in the cold. Silk is obtained from the cocoon of the silkworm. The silk fibre is drawn out from the cocoon, twisted to make silk yarn, and waved to make silk fabric. Silk is a strong, smooth and shiny fibre.
