Detailed Solution

The most famous of the structural temples of the Pallava ruler was the Shore temple at Mahabalipuram. It is also believed that this Shore temple is one of the oldest structural temples in southern India, and this temple has many temples and shrines. This temple also got the tag of world heritage UNESCO site in 1984, and the location of this temple is near Chennai in Tamil Nadu. The structural construction of the Shore temple was the successor of the monolithic type of construction of temples. Though the monolithic structure was also prevalent during ancient times, structural temples succeeded in that kind of design.
