Detailed Solution

The most revolutionary social reform of the Jacobin regime was the abolition of slavery in the French colonies.
In 1794, the French Revolution ended slavery throughout the French Empire. A major social accomplishment of the Jacobin administration was the abolition of slavery in the French colonies. Maximilien Robespierre was a crucial contributor to the legal dissolution of slavery in France and witnessed its completion on February 4th, 1794. In the National Assembly, there was a discussion about whether or not to guarantee human rights to all French subjects, including those living in the colonies. However, Parliament could not enact any laws due to the businessmen whose livelihoods depended on the slave trade. Finally, all forms of slavery were outlawed by the Convention.
