Detailed Solution

Collateral vascular bundles are seen in stems and leaves of dicots and monocots. Presence of cambium is a feature of Dicot stem bundles but not of Monocots and Root and leaf bundles of dicots. In dicot root pith is either scanty or absent. Prominent pith is seen in Dicot stems and Monocot roots. Dicot roots have limited number of vascular bundles usually ranging from two to four. xylem is exarch(protoxylem towards periphery and metaxylem towards center).
