Detailed Solution

The Mughal Empire's second emperor, Humayun ruled from 1530 to 1540 and from 1555 to 1556.
Humayun's domain included parts of present Eastern Afghanistan, Pakistan, Northern India, and Bangladesh. The Safavid dynasty of Persia helped him restore his empire and acquire new lands, just like his father, Babur. In December 1530, Humayun succeeded his father as the Emperor of Delhi. When Humayun assumed power at the age of 22, he had no prior experience as a leader. He lost the Mughal provinces to Sher Shah Suri, but with Safavid's assistance, he could reclaim them 15 years later. A significant shift in Mughal court culture was heralded by his return from Persia, accompanied by a large contingent of Persian noblemen.
