Detailed Solution

The Municipal Corporation gets its money from Tax or revenue collection to maintain the
expenditures.
The municipal cooperation provides basic services to their people. The municipal cooperation needed money to give these services regularly. The municipal corporation collects this money in different ways. People who made their homes in the city had to pay property taxes as well as taxes for water and other services. Property taxes help the municipal corporation 25-30 per cent of total revenue. There are also other taxes levied by local government taxes for education, taxes from hotel workshops, etc. The State Government and Central Government also allotted funds for the development of the cities. The Constitution of India provides autonomy for generating revenue for local bodies.
