Detailed Solution

The Napoleonic Code is also known as the French Civil Code. It was established in 1804 by Napoleon Bonaparte and is still in effect today, despite being periodically revised. It was the first law code to be produced in a civil-law legal system in Europe. The Napoleonic Code, commonly referred to as the "French Civil Code of 1804", established the idea of equality before the law and protected the right to property. The feudal system was abolished by this Code, and the peasants were also released from serfdom and manorial duties. The transportation and communication networks were also improved. One of this Code's main goals was to systematise and simplify all the laws into one text. Napoleon's streamlined administrative vision was followed by states like the German Democratic Republic, the Swiss Confederation, the Italian Republic, and the Dutch Republic.
