Detailed Solution

The image of an object seen by the human eye is formed on the retina of the eye means the image is formed on the screen. The image which is formed on the screen is always a real image.

Human eye lens are convex in nature and form real and inverted images on the retina. When the object is placed before the focus point and the centre of the lens it forms virtual and erect images. The images formed on retina are real and inverted which is perceived by the optic nerve tract that carries the image to the brain in the occipital lobe for processing of the information. The nerve impulses are processed in the brain that turn the inverted image into erect images.
