Detailed Solution

The nature, position and relative size of the image formed by a convex lens if the object is placed at 2F1 are real, inverted, and the same size.
We know that a convex lens is also called a converging lens, and all the incident rays converge at F (Principal focus). We get a Real, inverted and same-sized image when the object is placed at a distance equal to 2F. The ray from the object is parallel to the principal axis. One ray will go through the centre of curvature, and another ray through the focus of the lens on the other side. Both these rays meet at a point at 2F on the other side of the lens. The image is formed below the principal axis.
