Detailed Solution

The Nazi Party's symbol was Swastika.
Hitler's youth was riddled with poverty. He enrolled in the army when the First World War broke out. The German defeat devastated him, and the humiliation at Versailles infuriated him. Later, he formed the Nazi Party, formerly the National Socialist German Workers Party. Nazism became a successful mass movement during the Great Depression. Following the economic crisis and unemployment after 1929, the Nazi propaganda watered seeds of hope in the hearts of Germans. In 1928, the Nazi Party got merely 2.6 per cent of the votes in the German Parliament, but in 1932, it became the largest party with 37 per cent of the votes. Hitler was also a powerful orator. He promised the country employment opportunities and added that he would restore the dignity of Germans after the injustice at Versailles. The Nazi salute, red banners with Swastika, i.e., the symbol of the Nazi Party, and the ritualised round of applause were all demonstrations of Hitler's power.
