Detailed Solution

The Ninety-Five Theses was written by Martin Luther.
Martin Luther, a German monk who disagreed with the church doctrine of indulgences, published 95 theses in 1517 that criticised Roman Catholic ceremonies and customs. A printed copy was nailed to the Wittenberg Church door by Luther. The church was unable to stop him because of the increase in literacy, the intellectual climate, and the widespread distribution of print media in Europe at that time. This incident is considered the beginning of the Reformation movement.
