Detailed Solution

The Non-Cooperation-Khilafat movement began in 1921.
The Non-Cooperation-Khilafat movement was organised under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi against British Colonial Rule. It was started as a Khilafat Movement in 1920, an Islamic protest that opposed the removal of the Caliph by the British after the disintegration of the Ottoman Empire. It was started by Shaukat Ali and received the support of Gandhiji. Later, the Non-Cooperation movement was associated with the Khilafat movement and gave a call for Swaraj. Various social groups joined it, and the programs accompanied were a boycott of British goods and institutions, picketing liquor shops, etc. It also involved using indigenous products, setting up Indian institutions, etc.
