Detailed Solution

The Non-Cooperation Movement gained momentum from 1921-22.
Government-run institutions and universities lost thousands of students. Many lawyers stopped practising, including Asaf Ali, C.R. Das, Motilal Nehru, and C. Rajagopalachari. Governmental bodies were disregarded, and British titles were given up. People set fire to foreign textiles in public. Between 1920 and 1922, the imports of foreign clothing substantially decreased. Large portions of the nation were on the verge of an uprising. People frequently rebelled against British control without using force.
