Detailed Solution

Students left universities, foreign goods were boycotted, and lawyers left courts, connected with the Non-Cooperation movement that emerged in town.
The Non-cooperation movement was started by Mahatma Gandhi in 1920. This movement spread in the whole country like fire. The common people residing in towns participated in this movement heavily. Students left their universities, lawyers left their courts, and headmasters and teachers all left their professions to join the campaign without thinking about their future. Thus the organisation under the British government were boycotted. This Non-cooperation movement started by Gandhiji gained massive support. Moreover, foreign goods were boycotted and burnt in a bonfire. Swadeshi goods were accepted by Indians, who stopped using foreign goods.
