The Non-Cooperation Movement was adopted during the Nagpur session of the Indian National Congress. Mahatma Gandhi announced the beginning of the Non-Cooperation Movement in August 1920. Congress assembled at Nagpur for a session in December 1920. It was at this session that a compromise between the movement's supporters and opponents was finally reached, and the Non-Cooperation Movement was officially adopted.
