The Non-Cooperation Movement was started by Mahatma Gandhi. It aimed at non–violent Satyagraha to achieve ends. In the Non-cooperation movement, the methods adopted were:

Boycott of foreign goods and burning foreign cloth and other commodities.

Picketing of liquor shops

Boycott civil services, police, court, and other government institutions.

Adopting indigenous commodities, schools, colleges, etc.

The Non-Cooperation movement could not sustain itself for long. It withdrew as people resorted to violent means as opposed to Gandhian ideals.
