Detailed Solution

Concept: We have been provided with a charge which is -1C. To calculate the number of electrons use the expression of quantization of charge which will give a relation between the number of charge, charge on the electron. Put the values in the expression and get the answer.  Expression of quantization of charge is given by, Q=ne Where,
 Q is the charge on any body n is an integer e is the charge on an electron(fundamental charge) The question asked to find the number of electrons present in -1C of charge. We know that charge on a body always exists as an integral multiple of the fundamental charge. So, by quantisation of charge, q=ne or n=qe We have been provided with the value of charge which is -1C and we know that charge on electrons, which is 1.6×10-19C Put values in above equation, we get
n=qe =-1C1.6×10-19C=6×1018 electrons.
Hence, option 1 is correct.
