Detailed Solution

The Nuremberg Tribunal sentenced 11 people. Only eleven of the top Nazis received death sentences from the Nuremberg Tribunal. After the Second World War, the International Military Tribunal was established in Nuremberg. The Nuremberg Tribunal was another name for this tribunal. It was created to bring Nazi war criminals to justice. Crimes against humanity, crimes in times of war, and crimes against peace were all included. Eleven of the top Nazis who were found guilty of some of the atrocities were sentenced as a result of the legal process. Other than this, a large number of Nazis were given life sentences. When compared to the ferocity and scope of the Nazis' crimes, the retribution was swift and disproportionately light.
