Given, the one-fifth part of a number when raised by 5 equals to its one-fourth part decreased by 5.
Let the required number be x.
According to the question, x5+5=x4-5.
Solve the equation for x.
x5+5=x4-5
x4-x5=10
The prime factorisation of 4 is 2×2.
The prime factorisation of 5 is 5.
So, the LCM between 4 and 5 is 20.
5x-4x20=10
x20=10
x = 200
So, the number is 200.
Hence, option 4 is correct.
