The new origin is  $(\mathrm{h},\mathrm{k})=(2,3)$
The coordinates of the point P in the new coordinate system is  $(\mathrm{X},\mathrm{Y})=(7,-2)$
Suppose that the coordinates of the point P in the original coordinate system is  (x,y)
The relation between the old and new coordinates is $\mathrm{x}=\mathrm{X}+\mathrm{h},\mathrm{y}=\mathrm{Y}+\mathrm{k}$
Substitute the values 
$\begin{array}{l}\mathrm{x}=\mathrm{X}+\mathrm{h}\\ =7+2\\ =9\end{array}$
and  
  $\begin{array}{l}\mathrm{y}=\mathrm{Y}+\mathrm{k}\\ =-2+3\\ =1\end{array}$
Therefore, the coordinates of point P original system is  $\left(9,1\right)$
