The pair of equations

x + 2 y + 5 = 0

and

- 3 x - 6 y + 1 = 0

have no solution.
As general form of equation,

ax + by + c = 0

The given equations are,

x + 2 y + 5 = 0

- 3 x - 6 y + 1 = 0

If the equations are in the form of,

\frac{a_{1}}{a_{2}} = \frac{b_{1}}{b_{2}} \neq \frac{c_{1}}{c_{2}}

then the equations have no solution.
From the given equations we have,

\frac{a_{1}}{a_{2}} = \frac{1}{- 3}
