Detailed Solution

The Paramaras ruled the region around Malwa.
Between the ninth and the fourteenth centuries, the Paramara dynasty ruled over Malwa and the neighbouring regions in west-central India. They belonged to the Rajput Parmar clan. Gujarat had produced the oldest surviving Paramara inscriptions, written by the king Siyaka in the tenth century. Siyaka made the Paramaras a powerful nation by sacking the Rashtrakuta capital Manyakheta in around 972 CE. The Malwa region in modern-day Madhya Pradesh had developed into the main Paramara territory by the time of his successor Munja, with Dhara serving as their capital. Under the leadership of Munja's nephew Bhoja, whose realm spanned from Chittor, the dynasty reached its pinnacle.
