The part of the ovule where the funiculus, nucellus and integuments unite is called Chalaza. Hilum is the junction between the funiculus and ovule body and present slightly below the chalaza. Raphe is seen in certain ovules with inverted body and long funiculus where the funiculus fuses on the lateral side of ovule body. Micropyle is opening of ovule.
