The part of the stomach that first receives the food bolus is 

The stomach has four major parts – cardia, fundus, body, and pylorus. The oesophagus opens into the cardia. Hence the food bolus first enters the cardia. The fundus is the rounded portion superior to and to the left of the cardia. The body is the large central region of the stomach. The pyloric part opens into the duodenum.
