Gollas, Kurumars, and Kurubas are the pastoral communities of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. The primary livelihoods of the rural communities of Andhra Pradesh are herding cattle, breeding sheep and goats, and selling woven blankets. Typically, a dry central plateau of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. These plateaus are inhabited by herds of cattle, goats and sheep. The Kurumars and Kurubas raised sheep and goats and sold woven blankets, while the Gollas herded cattle. They took care of their hands, worked a variety of lovely trades, lived close to the woods, and farmed little plots of land.
