Gollas, Kurumars, and Kurubas are the pastoral communities of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh's pastoral people are largely concerned with herding cattle, growing sheep and goats, and selling woven blankets. An arid central plateau is typical of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. These plateaus are covered in stone and grass and are home to herds of cattle, goats, and sheep. The Kurumars and Kurubas raised sheep and goats and sold woven blankets, while the Gollas herded cattle. They lived near the woods, cultivated tiny plots of land, worked in various lovely trades and looked after their hands.
