Detailed Solution

The Peninsular plateau is the part of the oldest landmass. It was created as a result of the disintegration of Gondwana land. India's southern region is made up of the peninsular plateau, which is bordered by the sea on three sides. Because it is made up of ancient crystalline, igneous, and metamorphic rocks, the peninsular plateau is abundant in minerals and fossil fuels. The western and eastern limits of the plateau are defined by the Western Ghats and the Eastern Ghats. These ghats are abundant in vegetation and fauna and run parallel to the different coasts.
