The perimeter of a rectangle whose area is 600 c m 2   and breadth 25 cm is 98 cm.
Given the area of rectangle is 600 c m 2   and breadth = 25 cm.
Area of rectangle is,
=length×breadth  . Let length = x,
600=x×25 x= 600 25 x=24   Now, perimeter is,
=2× Length+breadth   = 2(24+25)
= 2(49)
= 98 cm
Perimeter of the rectangle is 98 cm.
