Given a rectangle whose length is 40 cm and a diagonal is 41 cm.
Let the side BC = a   cm,
Using Pythagoras’s Theorem,  a 2 = 41 2 40 2 a 2 =16811600 a 2 =81 a=9cm   Now perimeter is,  =2 9+40 =2×49 =98  
The perimeter is 98 cm.
