Detailed Solution

The M Phase represents the phase when the actual cell division or mitosis occurs. The M phase is further divided into karyokinesis and cytokinesis. Karyokinesis includes prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase. Cytokinesis includes division of cytoplasm and forming two daughter cells. G1 , S and G2 phase are a part of the interphase and it is not accompanied by cell division.
