Detailed Solution

The phenomenon of producing the induced current in a coil due to relative motion between a magnet and the coil is called electromagnetic induction.
Here, we can say that electromagnetic induction is a phenomenon in which a fluctuating magnetic field over a wire loop produces an induced emf. Whenever a magnet and a coil move relative to one another, magnetic flux varies, and an electromotive force is produced in the coil. Induced current is generated by this electromotive force.
