Detailed Solution

The phrase "Unity in diversity" was coined by Jawaharlal Nehru.
The phrase "Unity in diversity" was coined by the foremost prime minister of India, Pt Jawaharlal Nehru. He was aware of the complex diversity in Indian society. He claimed that his goal was to accommodate diversity by representing all of society's segments. The constituent assembly had people from all walks of life; its members were from different social backgrounds and cultures. It was our first-ever mini-parliament. The Indian Parliament today has different people from different social backgrounds, religions, castes, classes, and fields. It is because of our constitution's leaders and founding fathers, like Jawaharlal Nehru. He stated this phrase, unity in diversity, to reflect that, despite so much diversity, the people of India live together as one nation.
